Body Based Support for Grief, Trauma, and Emotional Resilience
Healing for the brave ones — the cycle breakers, the ones who feel deeply.
You’ve been carrying stories and sensations that were never truly yours—old grief, inherited fear, the pressure to keep going no matter what.
Here, we slow down.
We listen to your body, your grief, your intuition — the parts that have been crying out to be witnessed.
Together, we trace the roots of what you’ve been holding, honor the versions of you who learned to endure, and gently let go of what no longer belongs.
This is the work of remembering yourself — again and again — with tenderness, courage, and breath.
⟡ You learned to read every room before you entered it — to shape-shift, to soothe, to survive.
⟡ Your body rarely feels at ease — even in calm moments, there’s a hum of alertness, waiting for the next thing to go wrong.
⟡ You carry the quiet belief that you’re both too sensitive and not doing enough.
You’re not alone in this story. You’re simply ready to come home to yourself — I’ve been there too.
Does this sound familiar?
Meet Kayleigh Eden LCSW
Somatic Therapist
Virtual Therapy Available throughout California
Hi, I’m Kayleigh. I help adults heal the lingering effects of trauma — attachment wounds, grief, and the ways we learned to leave ourselves behind — so they can feel safe in their bodies and at home in their lives again.
My work weaves somatic therapy, embodiment, and alignment with nature’s rhythms, guiding you to rebuild trust in your body’s wisdom and come home to yourself—one breath, one feeling at a time. I believe in a world where you no longer carry inherited shame or survival patterns that dull your aliveness — a world where your truth feels safe to live in.

Grief Therapy
Grief isn’t something to fix—it is a sacred heart-opener, a teacher that reminds us how deeply we have loved. I believe grief and love exist in a spiral dance with one another, two sides of the same coin, and that our capacity to hold grief expands our capacity to love and stay present with life. In therapy, we slow down and listen to how grief lives in the body, making space for its wisdom so it can move, soften, and be integrated with care. Together, we tend loss with tenderness and courage, learning how to carry what has shaped you in a way that deepens aliveness, connection, and devotion to what matters most.

Therapy for Trauma and PTSD
Trauma lives in the body as a memory of what it took to survive, a record of overwhelm, threat, and disconnection held in the nervous system long after the danger has passed. I believe trauma responses are signs of intelligence, not brokenness, and that our capacity to hold activation, fear, and vulnerability expands our capacity for connection, presence, and choice. In therapy, we slow down and listen to how trauma lives in the body, making space for its wisdom so unfinished survival responses can move, soften, and be integrated with care. Together, we tend what has been held with tenderness and courage, learning how to carry what has shaped you in a way that restores trust in your body, deepens sovereignty, and devotion to what matters most.

Somatic Experiencing Therapy
Somatic Experiencing® is a gentle, body-based approach to healing trauma, grief, and chronic stress by restoring your relationship with your nervous system. We slow down and listen to the subtle language of sensation, breath, and impulse, allowing healing to unfold at a pace your body can trust.
I believe your body is your first home and your true beloved — the one who carried you through everything you have survived. In our work together, I offer deep attunement and help your nervous system release what it no longer needs to carry so you can move toward safety, connection, and aliveness again.

Ancestral Trauma Therapy
Ancestral trauma is a gentle, body-based way of understanding how grief, fear, and survival patterns are carried through our nervous systems across generations. Even when we have no personal memory of what our ancestors endured, the body still remembers. We slow down and listen to the subtle language of sensation, breath, and impulse, allowing inherited survival responses to soften and release at a pace your body can trust.
In our work together, I offer deep attunement and help your nervous system release what no longer belongs to you so you can move toward safety, connection, and a future that is freer for those who will come after you.
Testimonials
Verified client, age 55-64
“Kayleigh is an amazing partner in my wellbeing journey. I started working with her during a traumatic time (husband diagnosed with serious illness) and our work together has been invaluable in me being able to navigate this time and also attend to the issues that have been triggered by the situation, as well as other holistic work. I highly recommend her as a therapist.”
Verified client, age 25-34
“She was my first therapist ever, when I say, she literally saved my life, I’m not even exaggerating. I can tell she genuinely cares, and that means so much to me because one of my biggest issues is feeling alone in the world. She’s helped me so much.”

My fee is $225 per 50-minute session.
When available, sliding-scale spaces are prioritized for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ clients.
If you are seeking reduced-fee support, please feel free to mention this during our consultation call. If I am unable to accommodate your needs, I’m happy to offer referrals to trusted colleagues and community resources that may be a better fit for your financial situation.

I typically meet with clients for 50-minute sessions once a week. Research shows that weekly therapy is often the most effective rhythm, particularly in the early stages of care, and supports building safety, continuity, and momentum in the work. For this reason, I usually recommend beginning with weekly care. Biweekly appointments are also available and may be a good fit depending on your needs, goals, and capacity in this season. At this time, sessions less frequent than biweekly are reserved for clients who are transitioning out of therapy as they do not reliably support therapeutic continuity or outcomes.

I am considered an out-of-network provider. This means I do not bill insurance directly, but I’m happy to provide a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. I recommend checking with your provider to understand your out-of-network mental health benefits — many of my clients receive partial reimbursement this way.
Why work with an out-of-network therapist:
⟡ You decide how long we work together — not insurance.
⟡ Our sessions stay completely confidential; no diagnoses or notes are shared.
⟡ We can tailor our work to your unique needs and pacing.
⟡ You won’t face sudden coverage changes or surprise billing.
⟡ Our focus stays on your healing, not on insurance limitations. -

Our first session is a gentle beginning. We’ll review your intake paperwork together, talk about how you’re feeling as we start this process, and explore what feels most important for you to focus on right now.
The first few sessions often feel like storytelling — giving me a sense of your history, your patterns, and what’s asking for care. As we go, we’ll collaborate on a customized treatment plan anchored in your core values, which we’ll use as a compass throughout our work together.
We’ll also establish a weekly or biweekly recurring time that is reserved specifically for you, and I’ll ask for your commitment to protect this time as part of your treatment plan. Consistency is an important part of building safety, continuity, and momentum in the work.
